Training for "Heroes" of Nation

To upgrade the content knowledge and pedagogical skills of teachers in public and private basic education institutions, faculty from the College of Education of DLSU went to Tanuan City of Batangas to provide summer training programs to 400 local public school teachers.

The training sessions divided participants according to their specialized areas to ensure that they develop a greater understanding of content and basic and operational concepts in there assigned subjects.

De La Salle University has responded to the need to develop basic education teachers. They help hand in hand to help in enrichment programs for thousands of public school teachers.

The first quarter is done and second grading will be done. Our time in staying in Ilocos Sur National High School is now ending.

When the first quarter ended, I promised to myself to study hard and not to play computer games anymore. In my second quarter, I have done many thing to make my grades be higher. Many requirements are done and I do it better than on my first quarter. This time I wish my grades for this quarter is high so that my "mama cion" will be proud of me. 

My second grading was very fun and exciting. I had passed my requirements and I am now reviewing for the second periodical test.  

English month celebration

                               

English language had been used all over the world. It is a global language and proficiency in it is a must to succeed in a globalized world.In the world of globalization, countries like Russia, China, and Japan, who have passionately sustained and promoted their own language, had accepted the importance of English language.They used it to communicate to other countries who do not know their native language.

Using English language is have a very much help in maintaining the peace. We can attain that peace in having a good communication to each of the countries. 

In the first place using English language have many benefits on us and on our country. Using and studying English language may not be easy for a small boy but it is very easy for sure if we want to.

My Teacher My Hero

Every year our dear teachers celebrates their day. Being a teacher is not really easy. Every teacher sacrifices most of his/her time in teaching students. Teaching has always been a big part of my life, and without our dear teachers we can't have professional works. Being educated is very important because our knowledge is our only wealth that can't be stolen by others. 

Our teachers are not merely educators or classroom managers. They are adults who teenagers can trust in a time during their lives where they don't know who to turn to. They have the knowledge to teach us how the earth go round and how the birds go fly. We have no pilots if we have no teachers, we have no soldiers without teachers, we have no engineers without teachers, and also we have no teacher without teachers.

Our teachers are not only teaching, they are learning on us. They are the heroes of every people in the world. They are the good listeners if we have problems. And they will be the one who will smile if we achieve our goals in life.

                                               

 Modern Day Hero

                      Heroes are real for a child. For the adult one, these heroes are not real, not real because they have powers and explainable skills.

                      A hero for me is a person that have good moral and spiritual aspects. This I am idolizing can be trusted that is honest and a hero that can help me in case of emergency. One I am considering hero is the taxi driver that have returned the bag that was left by the businessman in his car. But I consider for most is my mother , because she is sacrificing so much for my three brothers to send them to school. Also, she gave us life. I thank God that He gave me mother like her.

                       Heroes are not always people who have special skills and power but people with good moral and spiritual aspect are the greatest hero of the world.

                                                         

BUWAN NG WIKA

                     




                             Ang buwan ng Wika'y ipinagdiriwang sa buwan ng Agosto. Ang ating wika'y ang kaluluwa ng ating lahi.

                           Ang tema ng Buwan ng Wika ay "Ang Wika Natin ang Daang Matuwid". Nagsasaad na ang paggamit natin ng ating sariling wika'y nakatutulong sa pag-angat ng isang bansa. Ang Pilipinas ay isa sa mga demokratikong bansa sa Asya na kung saan, may iisang wika, ang Wikang Filipino. Kapag walang iisang wika ang ating bansa, malamang ay 'di tayo magkakasundo o magkakaintindihan at wala tayong ikauunlad. Ang ating ama ng Wikang Pambansa na si Manuel Luis Quezon ay siyang naglayon ng pambansang wika upang maging maunlad tayo. Marami mang dumating na ibang lahi dito sa ating bansa ang wika natin ay magiging matatag.

                            Sa makatuwid ang Buwan ng Wika ay naglalayon na ipaalala na dapat nating gamitin ang ating wika sa mabuti at upang tayon'y magkaintindihan. At malamang sa susunod pang henerasyon mas maunlad pa ang Pilipanas.

my 1st Grading

               

                     As June starts, our journey to our last months starts also. Also our requirements should be done.

                     As my journey starts, I am very nervous because I know that 4th year students are the most busiest students in our school. Many requirements should be done. As 1st grading starts, we must be good and responsible. In the previous two months I had been good and prove that I can. 

                     My first grading period was great start for me. I had finished all my requirements. But my score in other subjects are low, for the next grading I shall exert more effort to have my review. 

State of the Nation Address

Every year, our president delivers his or her SONA every 4th Monday of July. He/She reports his/her accomplishments for the year and his/her plan for the next year.

President Benigno Aquino delivered his SONA last July 22, 2013. His one subject is about RH LAW. He gave a hint that he is supporting the RH Bill (Reproductive Health Bill), which he said he believes that its approval will help a lot to improve the country’s economy. The controversial RH Law, which is now being questioned at the high court for allotting billions for contraceptives despite the insufficient budget allotted to state hospitals. On the other hand, Malacanang is confident that the Reproductive Health (RH) Law could withstand legal questions and could be implemented soon.

For me, Pnoy is a good leader, because he think of his country economy. If I am in his place I will support the RH LAW because I believe that we should control now our population. 

Nutrition Month Celebration

     

Every year, we celebrate nutrition month to remind and encourage people to eat healthy foods and to be conscious of our health.
        The theme of the nutrition month is "Gutom at malnutrisyon, Sama sama nating wakasan"  to encourage us, especially the people who are malnourish and weak to eat healthy foods, because healthy foods can give us strength and power to do the things that we do everyday. But our problem is is poverty. Poverty is a major problem in our country because many are poor that they cannot buy their basic result will being malnourished and weak. The people in the squatters area depends on the leaders of our country. But where are the corrupt and they will live happy, not thinking of us. So hunger will have its solution by changing the corrupt leaders.
       In summary, hunger and malnourished can have a solution if everyone will help and leaders will not corrupt, and people will be healthy.

Letter to the President

Dear Mr. President,
                    I want to greet you a good day sir!
                    My name is John Paul Rubio.  I am a student of Ilocos Sur National High School, and I am writing you today to share my thoughts about bullying of students in our school.
                    I became interested about this issue because more and more students became victims of this.
                    This issue is a major problem of other schools too. So, this is important to take an action immediately. I am suggesting that we must have to give a symposium about this to students as long as teachers.

                         I became interested about this issue because more and more students were becoming victims of this. We all know that bullying is a major problem of other schools too. This issue is a very serious matter about us, students of public schools and also private schools. This is so important to take an action immediately. I know that the Department of Education has been working to control this issue. So, I am suggesting that we must give a symposium to teachers and students of every school in the Philippines.
